This game is way to hard! I competed the first level, now the hardest of this game I found is in third level. Also, I will never know the story of this game...
That's not how it works my friend... just because the game is difficult doesn't mean we have to fix it, because it's not an absurd difficulty. It's a challenging game, and about the story, as soon as the game jam is over we'll put an English version.

Eu fiz os controles baseado nos jogos que eu costumo jogar, e todos eles tinham como controle do pulo "W" ou seta para cima, aí taquei no Duck Run. Mas enfim, depois da jam eu colocarei para poder pular na barra de espaço também
Did you make every stage at hand or did you create a system (maybe AI) for the running duck abstracted from every stage so you could fit his behavior in any stage easily?
I made every stage at hand, purple duck's AI is not really an AI, his AI is kind of complicated to explain how we did it, but we made the paths for him to run for each stage
Sorry about that, we will add English language once the game jam is over as we cannot update the game otherwise we would be disqualified. We didn't expected that the game to become popular.
would be great if the game were in english. this game is made quite hard by the fact that the other duck can literally stun you if you are close to itfor a bit longer. which is impossible to avoid since you have same speed and ned to follow same path :-/
As soon as the game jam is over, we will put the English language. And it's possible to grab the purple duck too by pressing "E" or "J", it's not just him that can do that :)
mannnn this is an awesome game! it has everything needed for a jam, a funny short game that can catch you to spend some time trying to beat it, I was about to leave at the last level because it is too difficult but I could make it to the end! congratulations to all 3 guys who worked on this game, keep up the good work!

You have to add "Difficulty" Button in settings.
They're will be "Easy", "Medium" and "Hard" difficulties

I am a software engineering myself.
I hope you tried to do something like this: http://jceipek.com/Olin-Coding-Tutorials/pathing.html and also paying attention to the article in the very ending (steering) .
I think people use to choose a path finder algo for each difficult level, adapted to game engine and also other mechanics, like the duck grabbing.

So far I just triednot to be close to him and/or jumping the whole time so he hopefully cant grab me :-)
grabbing the other guy makes tbhe final levels quite a bit easier. just beat the game, was a nice journey! :-)
